8888 kiriban reminder + LAFF

Volunteering my aft for the Los Angeles Film Festival again. This year, we have the likes of Hellboy II, several international films like from France and South Africa, X-Cross (Japan) from those that worked on Death Note and Battle Royale II, and "Cinematic Titanic" from the minds behind Mystery Science Theater 3000. Considering that we're hitting 90+ weather in the middle of May, I can only imagine how <sarcasm>wonderful</sarcasm> it'll be come June.

As a reminder, almost nearing that quad-8 hit, folks! Comment in journal, note me, screen-cap, whatever. First 3 folks hitting 8888 or after will get their choice of a TF writing via a prompt and canon character(s) from the winners, or they can pick from FF7, Rurouni Kenshin, and Kingdom Hearts. Remember, I won't write slash. Ganbarittsu! :D

Although I'm woefully out of practice on RK... It's been awhile. ^^;

My sis is a big fan of MST3K, so she's hoping to catch it when it shows at the Ford Amphitheater. I did warn her it depends on seating availability -- I get vouchers that can be exchanged for tickets.

Well, I proposed an Okami crossover with TF on the Padded Cell before, so how about you try that? I know a wolf made an appearance in "Liminality," but this one will be just a tad different, I should think. Use any characters you want, even 'Runner or 'Raid, if it so pleases you.

It's freezing here. 58 degrees and we have thunderclouds in the forecast. One of my suite mates declared that she hopes that NorCal will be warmer when she goes for Memorial Day weekend.
